Erina sits about 6 km inland at the commercial heart of the Central Coast, anchored by Erina Fair and Fountain Plaza. The suburb grew strongly from the 1960s subdivision era onward, so detached brick-veneer houses dominate, with later townhouse and villa infill near the shopping precinct and a residual stock of older fibro and brick cottages.
